Privacy policy

Your study data stays yours.

DocDoe needs context to teach well. This policy explains what we collect, why we need it, and how students and parents can stay in control.

Updated 16 July 2026

Information we collect

Account details. Your name, email address, and the basic profile information shared by your chosen sign-in provider. We never receive your provider password.

Study profile. Class, board, subjects, exam date, study goals, daily study time, current chapter, and learning preferences used to create your plan.

Study activity. Tasks, lesson progress, notes, quiz attempts, corrections, topic mastery, and revision history needed to keep every page consistent.

Your material. PDFs, images, notes, prompts, and other study content you choose to upload or enter.

Generated resources. Notes, quizzes, flashcards, plans, explanations, and other resources created for your account.

Technical data. Request counts, device and browser information, security logs, and error reports used to operate and protect the service.

How we use your information

  • Create and recalculate your tuition plan.
  • Keep lessons, tasks, notes, attempts, and progress available across sessions and devices.
  • Ground answers in your selected syllabus, uploaded material, and current learning context.
  • Apply plan limits, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and improve reliability.
  • Send important account, safety, billing, or service notices.

We do not sell student data. We do not use private uploaded material to train public AI models on DocDoe's behalf.

AI processing

When you ask DocDoe to explain, generate, transcribe, search, or analyse something, the minimum content required for that request may be sent to trusted AI or search providers. They process it to return the requested result.

AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Important facts, formulas, and exam answers should be checked against your official textbook, syllabus, or teacher.

Who helps us run DocDoe

We share only what is needed with service providers that support AI generation, web search when explicitly needed, cloud hosting, file storage, authentication, payments, error monitoring, and email delivery.

We may disclose limited information when required by law, to investigate abuse, or to protect the safety and rights of students, users, and the service.

Storage and security

DocDoe uses encrypted connections, access controls, ownership checks, rate limits, file validation, and security logging. Payment details are handled by the payment provider; DocDoe does not store full card numbers.

No online service can promise absolute security. If you believe an account or upload is at risk, contact us immediately and avoid including passwords, one-time codes, or card details.

How long we keep data

We keep account and study data while your account is active so your learning history remains available. After an account deletion request, personal data and uploaded content are removed or anonymised within 30 days, except for limited records we must retain for security, billing, fraud prevention, or legal reasons.

Your choices and rights

  • Access or correct your profile information.
  • Request a copy of the study content associated with your account.
  • Delete your account and associated content.
  • Object to or withdraw consent for processing where applicable.
  • Ask how a specific provider or feature uses your information.

Send requests to support@docdoe.in. We may need to verify account ownership before acting.

Students and minors

DocDoe is built for school students, including users under 18. Minors should use DocDoe with the awareness and consent of a parent or guardian. We collect only the information needed to provide study features, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. We do not use student data for behavioural advertising.

A parent or guardian may contact us to review, correct, or request deletion of a minor's data, subject to account verification and applicable law.

Cookies and browser storage

DocDoe uses essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your setup, protect sessions, and make the workspace function. We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand reliability and feature usage. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as DocDoe changes. Material changes will appear here with a new date and, when appropriate, an in-product notice.

Questions can be sent through the contact page or directly to support@docdoe.in.
